The Felting Process
Understanding the basic steps from fiber to finished piece
Prepare Wool
Select fibers by micron count and color. Card or layer your wool based on your project needs.
Apply Heat & Moisture
For wet felting: use warm soapy water. For needle felting: just needles and a work surface.
Agitate & Shape
Work the fibers with pressure, movement, or repeated needle pokes until they bond together.
Finish & Set
Rinse, dry, and add final details. Your felted piece is now complete and ready to use or display.
